      Position Summary
      The Instructor is responsible for delivering instruction and supervision to students in both clinical and classroom settings. This role may also involve formal teaching through classroom instruction and hands-on demonstrations.

      Responsibilities

      • Understand and align with program goals and objectives.
      • Familiarize with clinical objectives and the evaluation process.
      • Deliver instruction in both clinical and didactic settings.
      • Supervise and mentor students in clinical and classroom environments.
      • Assess and track students' progress in clinical and academic applications.
      • Maintain accurate performance records for all students.
      • Monitor student attendance in clinical and classroom settings.
      • Perform competency evaluations for students.
      • Prepare and present student progress reports, both orally and in writing.
      • Engage in professional development to remain current in the field and adopt new educational methodologies.
      • Participate actively as a member of the Faculty Organization Committee.

      Requirements

      • A minimum of three (3) years of experience within the last five (5) years in operating room settings or teaching in the field.
      • At least two (2) years of occupational experience across the work history.
      • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology Program
      • Bachelors Degree or higher is required.
      • Current CST certification is required; a BPSS Teacher License is preferred.
