Provide attentive, hands-on care for an active 20-month-old toddler.
Engage fully in play, including floor play, playground outings, classes, museums, and playdates.
Narrate, teach, and encourage developmental growth throughout the day.
Prepare simple, healthy meals for the child.
Manage child-related laundry, toys, and organization.
Collaborate closely with the co-nanny to ensure continuity and communication.
Navigate NYC daily life confidently, including stroller walks in all weather.
Travel with the family seasonally (Miami winters, Hamptons and Martha’s Vineyard summers, and additional trips throughout the year).
Strong toddler experience, particularly around 18–24 months.
Prior NYC nanny experience and comfort with “stroller culture,” apartment living, and city navigation.
Physically capable of keeping up with and lifting an active toddler.
High-energy, playful, and comfortable getting fully engaged at the playground.
Collaborative and adaptable within a multi-adult household.
Passport-ready and open to travel.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.
Comfortable working in a home where parents and grandparents are frequently present.
Nut-aware and respectful of food restrictions in the home.
Flexible with schedule, including weekends and occasional late evenings.
$120,000 annual salary

Overview
A warm, engaged family in the West Village is seeking a second full-time nanny to join their childcare team and work alongside their long-term nanny in caring for their energetic 20-month-old son. This is a rotational, position offering a competitve, guarenteed annual compensation, benefits, and long-term stability.
The family is open to either a 3–4 day rotational schedule or a one-week-on/one-week-off rotation, with typical shifts running from 7:00am to 7:00pm. Flexibility for occasional late evenings is required, and coverage for approximately two weekends per month is expected.
Both parents are frequently home, and extended family members are often present. The ideal candidate is confident, secure, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment with multiple adults in the home. The family values a nanny who integrates seamlessly and knows when to lead and when to give space.
The family is hoping to hire as soon as possible.
