• overseeing the ability of the organization to maintain effective business activities in the face of cyber threats and within cyber and information security risk appetites
• contributing to cyber and information security and relevant data protection strategy and standards
• raising cybersecurity awareness
• representing and championing best practices in cybersecurity to internal and external stakeholders and partners
• mentoring and training the next generation of cyber-crime and data protection experts
• commitment to delivering cyber security with a focus on innovation and effectiveness
• identifying and reporting process improvements within the scope of their work
• keeping their own skills updated with new developments in their field
• acting as a subject matter expert for a specific area
• designing and operating an effective control environment, proactively identifying and raising control deficiencies and driving diligent and sustainable risk remediation
• designing and development of cyber defense solutions including scripting and coding
