What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Regularly review clients' business priorities and growth strategies, building account plans to ensure success
- Protect and grow renewal revenues by ensuring clients derive maximum value from using the employer's services
- Track clients' growth projections and initiate contract upgrades as necessary
- Promote the employer's capabilities to improve quality, efficiency, and deliver new value to customers
- Build strong relationships and develop a deep understanding of the customer's business and technical landscape
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3+ years of technical consulting, customer success, or account management experience with assigned growth targets
- Experience in and technical knowledge of a payments technology environment
- Proven track record of account expansion and growing contract value
- Ability to drive value at the executive level and interact comfortably with engineers or developers
- Excellent customer service, negotiation, and closing skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working and building relationships with technical customers/end users, primarily developers using an API to support commerce businesses
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities
