      Job Description Summary

      This position will partner with key initiative owners, the finance team, project portfolio management office and other business & IT partners to deliver and execute on key transformational-type programs and projects. The role will further support the Strategic Planning Office’s overall pipeline management of the Individual Solutions line of business. We are looking for a high-energy, self-motivated individual that effectively influences, leads and coach colleagues through transformational change.

      Job Description

      The responsibilities include, but not limited to:

      • Leads and drives the pipeline delivery covering a vast array of cost, growth and health enabling initiatives; provides line of sight in pipeline demand working to accelerate delivery or backfilling leakage
      • Develops and manages data quality hyenine checks on the prioritized initiatives; includes coordination and closure of data quality exceptions
      • Creates and managers portfolio level reporting and dashboards for each stage of the project lifecycle from initiative creation to benefit realization; manages the actuals tracking for the IS workstream monthly as initiatives are executed
      • Monitor changes to initiatives (forecast, date shifts, status) and calculates impact to entire pipeline; monitors pipeline dashboards for late, coming due milestones and initiatives
      • Prepares various workstream communications to program stakeholders on a periodic basis; prepares and coordinate’s materials and artifacts for governance boards; integrates key commentary and executive level highlights into daily communication
      • Coaches and mentor’s initiative owners and other key stakeholders throughout all stages of project lifecycle maintaining strong alignment to strategy
      • Identifies opportunity for continuous improvement and process maturity; creates plans of improvement and executes those plans with efficiency and effectiveness
      • Maintains up to date policies, methodologies and procedures surrounding resource and demand, quality assurance and key performance management reporting

      Qualifications

      • 8-10 years of related work experience with portfolio management or continuous improvement experience working with large scale, cross-functional change initiatives
      • University or Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent work experience such as Business, Economics, or Organizational Design; preferred a master’s degree in business or economics
      • Advanced experience using MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Visio)
      • Working knowledge of Project Management methodologies and principles
      • Advanced experience in the use and administration of formal Project Management and Project Portfolio management Tools
      • Strong analytical and organizational skills (planning, prioritizing) are critical to this position
      • Communication skills (written, verbal, listening) , as is the ability to successfully adapt to
      • diverse people and situations, manage conflict, proactively resolve issues, and complete assignments on time.
      • Good understanding of the insurance and financial services industry
      • Basic understanding of SQL Reporting
      • Strong understanding of Relational Database Management principles
      • Advanced level understanding of SharePoint Development

      • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization to guide resource demand and capacity requirements.
      • Ability to train stakeholders on processes evolution and expansion
      • Familiarity with project management tools, lifecycles, etc.
      • Foster innovation and act quickly (ability to increase the speed of change process wherever possible)
      • Skills to positively influence others to move toward a common vision/goal and support achievement of desired outcomes
      • Strong process engineering/design mindset
      • Illuminates effective issue resolution management skills
      • Presentation skills to create and deliver information to a wide audience.
      • Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
      • A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
      • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities

      Compensation

      **Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency and compensation posting laws. It is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid in certain Company locations.**

      The Salary for this position generally ranges between $115K-150K. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.

      Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
