      Key job responsibilities
      • Managing high volumes of calls.
      • Communicate on day to day with drivers in order to carry out check-in and check-out transactions successfully.
      • Understand the issue and make best use of the available resources to resolve it.
      • Able to escalate problems to the relevant teams according to processes and standard.
      • Use internal systems to gather data from multiple sources to support.
      • Ensure to surpass all performance and quality goals.
      • Ability to work shifts from Sunday to Thursday and from Tuesday to Saturday.


      A day in the life
      The main task of the Remote Gatehouse Specialists is to perform gate transactions (check-in and check-out). Check-in and check-out transactions consist of confirming all the necessary information to allow the driver to enter or leave the Amazon site. The Remote Gatehouse Specialist also facilitates the flow of information between different stakeholders (Drivers/Relay Operations Center/Warehouses) and resolves any potential issues that impact customer experience and business continuity.


      About the team
      Remote Gatehouse Team is a part of ROC (Relay Operations Center). ROC is the central control center for Transportation Execution across the Amazon's European Transportation network, supporting both domestic and inter-country transportation movements for European geographies.

      We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

      Prague, CZE• Advanced level of English Verbal and Written (CEFR B2/C1).
      • Previous experience in customer facing role
      • Computer literacy
      • Knowledge of Ms Office tools (Excel)
      • Excellent communication skills (ability to work with customers).
      • Communication skills in other languages: Polish, Romanian or Spanish.
      • Ability to handle difficult conversations.
      • Experience within a customer service environment in Multinational Call Center.
      • Experience in logistics/transportation industry, customer-oriented role.
      • University Degree: Master or Bachelor, ideally in logistic/transportation.
