      Unit Secretary Qualifications & Responsibilities:

      • High School Diploma or equivalent

      • Previous experience working in a long-term care setting is preferred but not required

      • Answer phones as necessary

      • Ability to work independently or part of a group

      • Computer knowledge

      • Pass out ice water to residents, make beds, and answer resident call lights

      • Report all accidents and incidents you observe as soon as possible

      • Report all changes in the resident’s condition to the Charge Nurse or Unit Manger

      • Transfer hospital appointments and schedule doctor appointments

      • Other duties as assigned by the Unit Manager, Director of Nursing, and Administrator

      Unit Secretary Schedule & Benefits:
