What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Utilize clinical skills to coordinate, document, and communicate all aspects of the utilization/benefit management program
- Assess the appropriateness of treatment plans and apply evidence-based standards and practice guidelines
- Coordinate and evaluate options to facilitate appropriate healthcare services and benefits for members
- Provide triage and crisis support while gathering clinical information for coverage determination
- Collaborate with providers and other parties to facilitate optimal care and treatment for members
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Kentucky Licensed Independent Behavioral Health Clinician (LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, LPAT) or an active unrestricted Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license with psychiatric specialty or behavioral health experience
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical practice experience in a behavioral health setting
- At least 1 year of Electronic Medical Record documentation experience
- Dedicated high-speed internet access
- Educational requirement: Master's degree with a Behavioral Health Clinical License or a minimum of a Diploma RN or Associate's degree in Nursing
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Residency in Kentucky or bordering counties
- Experience working with Substance Use Disorder diagnoses
- Managed care/utilization review experience
- Medicaid experience
- Proficiency with MS Office applications including Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel
