Job Description
- Req#: WAREH001403
- Identifies and transports requested materials to and from various locations, including machines, docks, and storage areas.
- Loads and unloads trucks.
- Inspects forklift daily and records on Daily Inspection Checklist form.
- Counts material (pcs.) against Bills of Lading to ensure accuracy.
- Checks for damages or shortages of goods.
- Reports and problems with materials or transportation to supervisor.
- Assists with monthly inventory.
- Assists with weekly cycle count audits.
- Performs other duties assigned by management.
- Follows all safety rules to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you.

- High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalency Certificate preferred.
- Must be able to operate a forklift. Certification to operate the forklift is required.

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This job operates in a manufacturing environment. The candidate is frequently exposed to noise, dust and various chemicals, and moving parts requiring the use of appropriate personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection and steel toe shoes.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the candidate is regularly required to talk, sit (for extended periods of time),walk, stand, and hear. The candidate will be required to twist/turn, reach out and overhead with hands and arms, and perform repetitive hand actions – grasping, push/pull, and fine manipulations. The candidate will be required to bend, stoop, kneel, lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull with entire body weights up to 300 lbs. The candidate must be able to climb up and down steps frequently. Specific vision abilities required by this position include color vision, close vision, distance vision, and peripheral vision.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work will be determined by shift. Weekend and overtime may be required as job duties demand.
