      Responsibilities:

      Our Wastewater Operator may be required to perform a variety of duties including but not limited to:

      • Operation of wastewater analysis laboratory

      • Operation and maintenance of wastewater collection system

      • Operation and maintenance of wastewater pre-treatment system

      • Operation and maintenance of wastewater full treatment system or operation and maintenance of any other type of water or wastewater treatment system.

      • Collecting samples for analysis in accordance with EPA state and or health departments regulations

      • Performing a variety of chemical analysis both in and out of a laboratory setting

      • Making system adjustments based on interpretation of results from chemical analysis

      • Making educated decisions on maintaining regulatory compliance

      • Performing mathematical calculations utilizing basic algebraic formulas and a calculator

      • Completing computerized reports

      • Compiling information and correctly completing monthly reports as required by permits state authority EPA or corporate management.

      • Utilization of basic organizational skills basic mechanical skills basic electrical wiring skills

      • Proper communication of current operational status to upper management

      • Maintaining operations logs

      • Performing minor to major maintenance on equipment

      • Operation of a spotter tuck and or a forklift.

      Requirements:

      • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

      • Experience: 1 plus years Maintenance/Wastewater/Lab Setting experience preferred.

      • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills with knowledge in Word and Excel.

      • Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills are critical.

      • CERTIFICATION: Candidates must also successfully complete and obtain the lowest-grade certification program within 12 months, or in accordance with State regulations. Candidates must also obtain the second-highest grade certification through the state certification program or another entity within twenty-four months of completing the initial requirements, or in accordance with State regulations.

      • PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Physically lifting of heavy objects 30 pounds climbing and or descending stairs or ladders; grounds keeping; painting; general housekeeping; working in unsanitary conditions; working with hazardous chemicals.

      • Supervisory Responsibilities: None

      • Must reside in the US, this role does not offer sponsorship.
