- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications.
- Prepare and fabricate materials before welding to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum materials for rail industry applications.
- Conduct quality checks on completed welds to maintain high standards.
- Assist in various other areas of the plant as needed to support team operations.
- Experience in MIG welding.
- Experience in TIG welding.
- Proficiency with aluminum materials.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes.
- Experience in production environments.
- Skills in tape measure usage and grinding techniques.

Work Environment
The work environment is a bustling and loud facility where safety is a top priority due to handling heavy and sharp metal materials. The facility is not temperature-controlled, so it can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Employees are required to wear steel-toed boots and jeans or pants without holes, with a choice between long or short sleeve T-shirts. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Libertyville, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
