  The Summer Associate Program / Graduate Intern is a 10-week program designed to offer our Interns a real life experience and a comprehensive overview of Key Bank. Interns act as the day-to-day leaders for analytical support, including financial statement analysis and model development; valuation analysis; industry research; and the preparation of various presentations and documents including descriptive memoranda and management presentations

  About the Summer Associate Program

  KBCM provides its Summer Associates unprecedented professional development opportunities through a mix of on-the-job training and structured, hands-on experience. The program is designed to provide broad experience across all stages of transaction executions, from pitch phase through closing. Because our Summer Analyst Program is a direct pipeline for our full-time Analyst positions, it offers exceptional potential for you to return to KBCM upon graduation to start your capital markets career.

  Job duties may include:

  • Perform financial modeling and valuation analysis on public and private companies: comparable company analysis, precedent transaction analysis, leveraged and discounted cash flow analysis.
  • Assist in drafting offering memoranda, preparing internal committee memoranda, and creating client “pitch books”, management and board presentations.

  Required Qualifications:

  • Current MBA Students studying coursework in finance, economics or accounting graduating by May of 2025
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA
  • Strong quantitative and critical thinking abilities
  • Demonstrated leadership and teamwork from past work experience and/or extracurricular activities
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

  *KeyBank’s Campus Program Internship and Analyst positions are not eligible for employment visa sponsorship (e.g., H-1B visa). This includes, for example, situations where a candidate may have temporary work authorization while enrolled in school or upon graduation (e.g., CPT, OPT) but would need H-1B visa sponsorship within a few years of employment in order to maintain employment eligibility.

  COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  This position is eligible to earn a weekly salary amount of $2,875 depending on location and coverage group. Furthermore, this position will be eligible for overtime compensation which is paid in accordance with the fluctuating workweek. Summer Associates can also expect a $2,000 stipend.
