A&P Mechanic – Fort Myers, FL Pay: $25–$40 per hour (based on experience & certifications) Location: Fort Myers, Florida Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are seeking a skilled Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic to join our team in Fort Myers, FL. The ideal candidate will perform inspections, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of aircraft while ensuring full compliance with FAA regulations and company safety standards. This role offers steady hours, competitive pay, and growth potential within a high-performing aviation environment. Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations. Troubleshoot, repair, and inspect aircraft systems including engines, hydraulics, electrical, structures, and avionics components. Complete logbook entries, maintenance records, and required documentation accurately. Conduct operational tests and return aircraft to service when appropriate. Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures at all times. Communicate effectively with maintenance leadership regarding aircraft status and repair needs. Maintain a clean, organized, and safety‑compliant workspace. Requirements Valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License (preferred). Minimum 1–3 years of aircraft maintenance experience Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Preferred Qualifications Experience with GA aircraft, commercial aircraft, or rotorcraft (customize if needed). Previous experience in fast‑paced maintenance environments. Additional certifications: IA, factory training, avionics experience, turbine or piston certifications. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay: $25–$40/hr (based on experience, shift, and certifications). Overtime opportunities available.
