      Job Title: Aircraft Technician

      Job Description

      As an Aircraft Technician, you will work to both written and verbal instructions, performing all tasks in accordance with approved maintenance procedures. Your responsibilities will include recording and assuming responsibility for work performed, using blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals. You will also perform touch-up painting, maintain necessary licenses, and may engage in experimental and developmental work. A thorough understanding of servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, modifying, preserving, maintaining, and overhauling aircraft systems and components is essential.

      Responsibilities

      • Perform work in accordance with approved maintenance procedures.
      • Record work performed and assume responsibility as indicated by signature.
      • Use blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
      • Perform touch-up painting as needed within task area.
      • Maintain a valid license and carry it while at work.
      • Engage in experimental and developmental work as assigned.
      • Service, troubleshoot, repair, modify, preserve, maintain, and overhaul aircraft, aircraft systems, and components.

      Essential Skills

      • Valid Airframe license; Powerplant license preferred but not required.
      • 2 years of commercial experience required.
      • Working knowledge of aircraft maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
      • Experience with Airbus 319, 320, 321, and Boeing 767, 777.
      • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, instructions, blueprints, and drawings.
      • Proficiency in using tools, gauges, and instruments necessary for assigned duties.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Valid driver's license.
      • 24 months of commercial heavy jet experience in an MRO setting preferred.
      • Experience in commercial, corporate, or military settings considered.
      • Knowledge of forms and documents required for heavy maintenance service, including Company policy and procedure manuals, FAR’s, AD’s, Service Bulletins, and Maintenance Manuals.

      Work Environment

      You will work in two hangars, typically accommodating 5-8 planes at a time, alongside 600 employees. The operation runs 24/7, requiring flexibility in shift hours. Shifts include 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM, with some 4x10 and 5x8 schedules.

      This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lake City, FL.

      Pay and Benefits

      The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
