The Role
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and creative Development Intern to join the Monkeypaw Productions team! In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the team with various day-to-day tasks relating to Development. Our Summer 2024 Development internship runs from June - August and is paid and based in the Los Angeles area, so candidates who are located (or intend to be located) in the area are preferred.

Our work challenges the conventional architecture of genre storytelling from horror to science fiction to social satire, while balancing avant garde visual language with undeniably contagious fun.
In this role you will:
Own day-to-day office tasks that contribute to general business operations
Support the Development team further Monkeypaw’s mission
Work cross-functionally with Development and Operations
Have a broad range of exposure to the transformative work of a production company
Support coverage on scripts for Tv and Film
Conduct research and share learnings
Assist in note taking for creative meetings
About you:
College juniors & seniors
Be at least 18 years of age with a a valid U.S. driver's license
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous professional internship/work experience
Proficient in GSuite and tech savvy
Demonstrated creative thinking skills
Bias toward action, highly collaborative
