What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a principal source of information on rules and procedures governing accounts receivable
- Oversee maintenance of account files, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Resolve problems and delinquent accounts in collaboration with the supervisor and collection agency
- Recommend and implement changes to systems and operating procedures
- Research individual accounts and summarize findings in reports
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Four years of related work experience, including two years in the same job family at the next lower level, or two years of related work experience and an Associate's degree
- High school level education
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to engage with people in a courteous manner
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Demonstrated record of excellent attendance and punctuality
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Working knowledge of EPIC and EPIC WQs
- Experience with ICD9 and CPT4 coding systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
