What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance and cash handling procedures
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, income auditing, and payroll coordination
- Prepare financial statements, operational analysis reports, and key performance indicator (KPI) tracking
- Ensure compliance with internal control policies, GAAP standards, and company accounting policies
- Train and mentor accounting clerks or property-based finance team members as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of hospitality experience or equivalent
- Experience in processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general accounting
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with systems such as MICROS, Opera, and Oracle EBS
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong interpersonal and team skills along with hospitality experience
