      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Follow up on unpaid and underpaid claims to meet collection targets and minimize write-offs
      - Research claim denials to determine reasons and reprocess claims for payment in a timely manner
      - Identify root causes and denial trends, providing recommendations to prevent future denials
      - Participate in team meetings to share insights on denial trends and improve revenue collections
      - Meet established productivity and quality metrics in the Accounts Receivable Department

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Graduate/GED required; Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree preferred
      - Minimum of 1-3 years of experience working in healthcare revenue cycle
      - Knowledge of healthcare billing, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and claim submission requirements
      - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong computer literacy skills

      - Proven track record of achieving results in a high-performing team environment
      - Experience with government, managed care, and commercial insurance reimbursement guidelines
