What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Patrol the firm's networks, reviewing security audits and logs to verify cybersecurity controls
- Assess the cybersecurity of the firm's vendors and respond to client reviews
- Respond effectively to potential cyber incidents and provide incident investigation and documentation
- Stay updated on cybersecurity news and implications for the firm's systems
- Support the cybersecurity awareness program by developing training materials and advising users on best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a technology-based role
- GED or High School Diploma; advanced education in cybersecurity or related field is a plus
- Demonstrated experience with network and computer technologies
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in a professional environment
- Familiarity with risk management principles and understanding of network protocols
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Advanced education in cybersecurity, computer science, or engineering
- Experience with incident response and investigation
- Rudimentary computer programming and scripting skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and summarize findings into concise recommendations
- Proven ability to build trust and credibility with business partners
