What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide administrative and program support to program managers in the creation and delivery of continuing education programs
- Coordinate and manage logistics for each program, acting as the registration and on-site program contact
- Maintain program records, certification endorsements, and scholarship applications
- Prepare, monitor, and report on budget items, including program revenue and expenses
- Serve as the first point of contact for individuals and groups, providing basic organizational information
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail and effective problem-solving
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and sit for up to 4 hours at a time daily
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate degree in Administrative Professionalism or Office Assistant, or 3+ years of administrative support experience
- Prior experience with a registration database system or financial/budget system
- Familiarity with administrative procedures at UW-Eau Claire or other UW-System campuses
- Knowledge of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
- Previous experience coordinating large, off-site group events
