- Supports the Admissions Manager with daily responsibilities and tasks, including but not limited to monitoring and responding to program inquiries, establishing meeting agendas and materials, maintaining accurate contact information in application database, developing targeted communications and updating program websites.
- Extensive project management of the student registration process for the Technical College High School and additional CCIU schools and programs and high understanding of the associated online application system, Hobsons Radius.
- Provide leadership and training for other CCIU registration processes.
- Communicates with parents, students and school personnel in various mediums, all in an effort to positively market the CCIU schools and programs.
- Supports the Admissions Manager in recruiting efforts, including in-person tours and events both with the Admissions Manager and independently.
- Maintain accurate records and computer databases and provide associated reporting as requested, including but not limited to:
- Records required by PDE (IEP's, 504 plans, etc.)
- Financial information
- Student enrollment data.

- Ability to exercise sound judgment and strategic thinking in regards to efficient and effective registration processes and troubleshooting that provide the highest level of customer service.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people both inside and outside of the organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to deal with stressful interpersonal situations, both face to face and on the telephone, in a courteous and responsible manner at all times.
- Organizational and administrative skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently to solve problems and as a team member of the Marketing & Admissions Department.
- Must be able to operate and troubleshoot enrollment and registration software and be able to develop spreadsheets for required reports.
- Must be computer literate (Microsoft Office) and have light typing skills.

At the present time a vacancy exists for an Admissions Specialist within the Communications, Marketing, and Engagement Division of the Chester County Intermediate Unit. This position serves as the primary support to the Admissions Manager in the recruitment and registration of students for CCIU schools and programs, including the Chester County Technical College High School (3 campuses), the Practical Nursing Program, the Child and Career Development Center and other IU programs as appropriate. It works closely with program administrators, local district administrators, students and parents and other internal and external resources.

*placement on salary scale is dependent upon experience in a similar position
