What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead the North America Aerospace Program and ensure compliance with AS9104 and ISO 17021 requirements
- Conduct AS9100 and AS9120 audits as an AS Lead Auditor
- Collaborate with business teams to enhance customer services and address client complaints
- Review and approve Aerospace client Non-Conformance Report (NCR) submissions prior to certificate decisions
- Provide guidance and support to AS auditors, ensuring they meet operational and accreditation requirements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering, or a relevant discipline
- Certified Aerospace Industry Experienced Lead Auditor for AS9100 and AS9120 standards
- Direct experience in Engineering, Design, Manufacturing, Quality, or Process Control for a major airframe manufacturer or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent grammar and composition
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in training internal resources on AS Product and related processes
- Familiarity with the Aerospace market trends and business development activities
- Strong attention to detail and proven time management skills
- Experience working with National Aviation Authorities or similar organizations
