The acclaimed Season restaurant, located at Peppers Salt Resort & Spa, has won many accolades for its celebrated chefs and seasonal menu, dedicated to fresh produce from the volcanic soils of the region. Whether it’s an intimate dinner for two, cocktails or share plates with friends, Season Restaurant at Peppers Salt Resort & Spa showcases the best of the region’s finest food and wine. Holding a 2015 Chef Hat from the Australian Good Food & Travel Guide, we are seeking an Apprentice Chef to join the team.
Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will work as part of a large kitchen brigade, in a 5-star service environment offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and conference events. You will gain exposure to buffet, a la carte and banquet style food preparation. Being an apprentice you will learn the majority of your skills on the job however we would like you to come with some experience within a commercial kitchen. This coupled with your willingness to learn and put in 100% effort will take you a long way toward securing this great opportunity.
With a focus on friendly five-star service you will be cucumber cool under pressure and will thrive on delivering high quality cuisine to our guests. You will have the flexibilty to work across 7 days including weekends and nights.
