      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Appear in court weekly, managing a high volume of juvenile welfare litigation cases
      - Communicate and collaborate with the Department of Children, Youth and Families and other parties involved in cases
      - Prepare for and litigate review hearings, motions, and trials related to child welfare
      - Handle appellate litigation arising from trial proceedings
      - Assist colleagues in varied legal assignments as needed to meet client needs

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Must be a graduate from a law school accredited by the ABA or have completed the WSBA's Rule 6 Law Clerk Program
      - Licensed to practice law in Washington State or actively pursuing admission
      - Strong desire to litigate and interest in public sector law
      - Exceptional writing, oral advocacy, and communication skills
      - Ability to manage a heavy caseload in a fast-paced environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in juvenile law or litigation is a plus
      - Familiarity with state and federal laws governing child welfare cases
      - Experience working with diverse backgrounds and communities
