What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support procurement activities related to selected suppliers
- Maintain accurate forecast and seasonal profiles
- Process orders, access previous orders, and manage special orders
- Serve as the primary backup to the Buyer and assist with formulary switches and new product launches
- Update purchase order statuses and provide suggestions for operational improvements
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Good decision-making and analytical skills
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with SAP preferred, but not required
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and mentoring abilities
- Strong typing and 10-key skills
- Minimal travel availability
