      The opportunity

      Project: An integrated mountain resort project in Pampanga, Philippines. Located between Angeles city and New Clark city. Phase 1 works include development of an 18 hole championship golf course, banyan tree main building and resort villas, club house, and ancillary site wide infrastructure and facilities.

      This is an opportunity to work on a world class integrated resort for a global, multi-national organisation and market leading client. With high standards and the usual tight deadlines in our industry, we have an amazing, diverse team of wonderful people delivering an incredible project.

      We are hiring an ambitious and forward-thinking candidate to join our established and growing team in the Philippines.

      Your responsibilities will include:

      • Monitoring, reviewing, and reporting on consultant’s and/or contractor design progress.

      • Ensuring designs are developed in compliance with project briefs.

      • Ensuring consultants are fulfilling contractual obligations for scope and deliverables.

      • Ensuring design consultants are working to ensure projects are on time, and on budget.

      • Ensuring scope change is monitored and managed in accordance with change protocols.

      • Ensuring client and statutory approvals are built into programme.

      • Ensuring detailed and/or peer reviews are scheduled if required.

      • Ensuring value engineering workshops are scheduled and participate.

      • Ensuring constructability reviews are scheduled and participate.

      • Assisting in preparation of consultant scopes and project briefs.

      • Assisting in procurement, selection, and appointment of design consultants.

      • Assisting in evaluation of consultant variations and claims in connection with design.

      • Reviewing Consultant and/or Contractor design submissions and progress reports.

      • Managing, coordinating, and participating in design and technical review workshops.

      • Challenging and supporting the design teams to ensure design solutions are optimized.

      • Utilising company resources efficiently to accomplish assigned work.

      • Ensuring that personal health, safety, and wellbeing, and that of the team is maintained.

      About you

      You will have a degree qualification in architecture or engineering and a member of a professional body. You will have experience in design management.

      You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and provide support to strong, motivated teams. You will have consultancy background and be keen to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
