What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver disease state and product education to patients and caregivers using approved materials
- Educate account nurses and office staff on the role of the Patient Education Manager
- Host patient-facing programs and deliver presentations during internal meetings and calls
- Serve as a liaison to access teams and partners to address patient-specific needs
- Participate in ongoing refinement of patient engagement strategies and educational materials
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College
- Registered Nurse credential required with advanced scientific training or academic credentials
- At least 12 years of related experience, including supporting patients within Rare Disease
- Proven track record of delivering results that meet or exceed targeted objectives
- Ability to travel up to 30% as necessary
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- At least 2+ years of field-based experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge and experience with genetic conditions
- Prior product launch experience preferred
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred but not required
- Strong reimbursement and market access knowledge
