Job Description

- Lead a team to complete the financial and management reports for US management review, and ensure compliance with Corporate policies and statutory requirements
- Monitor AR collection & customer deductions and review customer performance report
- Review customer contract and resolve issues relating to customer inquiries and issues
- Review and monitor customer allowance calculation, accruals, reserves and reports
- Handle P&L and cash flow forecast and variance analysis
- Responsible for SOX and Financial audits and ensure compliance with Corporate policies and Sarbanes Oxley requirements, liaise with internal and external auditors and perform internal controls review process and make recommendations
- Participate in system enhancement and process improvement from accounting perspective
- Prepares management reports / analysis to support management decision making
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and assignments
- Degree holder in Accounting or Finance or other related disciplines
- Qualified member of HKICPA / ACCA or equivalent
- 8 years+ of relevant experience in financial & management reporting, customer accounting, forecast and analysis, with 3 years+ in managerial level, preferably from MNCs
- Proficient in MS Office specifically with sound knowledge in Excel e.g. Pivot table & VLOOKUP is a must
- Knowledgeable in Oracle Financial System and Hyperion is preferred
- A good team player with positive mindset, good interpersonal and communication skills
- With strong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good command of both written and spoken skills English and Chinese

The Opportunity:
Mattel Asia Pacific is currently seeking an Associate Finance Manager to join the Direct Import Team under our Finance Division. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance, this role will be responsible for all-rounded financial and management reporting, customer accounting, audit and forecast.
