Editing and Incorporation of Branding Related to Labelling, Packaging and Instructions-for-Use and other Product Documentation
Packaging and Labelling Design and Development.
Correlate voice-of–customer data, collected from both internal and external stakeholders in conjunction with input provided by Global Product Managers to implement and maintain packaging and labelling changes associated with all Molecular Assays and platforms.
Sales Training and Tool Development: Assist Product Managers in design and messaging of Quidel products for Sales Collateral specific to global markets. Markets based upon feedback from end-users and VOC surveys. This includes design of Sales brochures, technical bulletins, webinars, and promotional and training materials. In conjunction with Corporate Marcom, design and support implementation of a range of Marketing elements, including but not limited to Scientific/ technical posters, webinars. This includes design of package inserts, unit cartons, technical bulletins, and other promotional and training materials.
Coordination of Business Unit Communications to Global Marketing Teams.
E-communications: With input from Molecular Business Product Managers and Directors assist in scheduling and crafting the content, format and design of Molecular Unit communications to support new product launches, product updates, and other relevant notifications to regional marketing teams. Assure that these communications are consistent with the messaging and positioning related to the molecular business and its products.
Molecular Business Unit Communications Portal: With input from Product Managers and Directors maintain, and drive adoption of the new molecular business unit communications portal (an Website Portal used as repository for relevant documentation for regional marketing leads to help them commercialize of QuidelOrtho Molecular products.) Assist with messaging, branding announcements, e-communications related to this site. Keep the related documents on the portal updated,
QuidelOrtho Corporate Website Global: With input from Product Managers and Directors, assist in maintaining the molecular website content and implement new content for the molecular product pages for the QuidelOrtho corporate website. Coordinate with Corporate Marketing Communications as needed. Track the site usage and success of e-communication campaigns and make recommendations on enhancements based upon feedback and tracking.
Reviewing and Editing Global Packaging and other Collateral for brand and message consistency for Molecular Product Portfolio.
With input and oversight from Global Product Marketing Managers and other stakeholders, author text for key labelling, packaging and instructions-for-use related to molecular diagnostic product lines. Incorporate edits from key stakeholders that maintain QuidelOrtho Molecular Business Unit messaging and branding of key products for Sales Collateral and other packaging and labeling specific to US and Ex- USA Markets
Capture and track edits and input from key stakeholders for all packaging, labelling
Schedule and host meetings with key stakeholders to drive completion of labelling and branding edits.
This labelling includes:
Printed and electronic Instructions for Use
Printed Unit Carton Design
Printed and electronic Multi language Labels
Software
Coordinate with Packaging Engineers, Graphic Designers and Regulatory and Marketing Communication personnel to drive and oversee development of labelling and packaging that addresses specific requirements of the USA and Ex-USA markets related to molecular diagnostic products.
Performs other work related duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in Life Science, Biochemistry, Marketing/Marketing
Communications or Digital Marketing or Business administration.2 years business experience
Excellent team, program/project management, and organizational skills
Must be a self-starter and independent thinker who is comfortable working with a wide variety of projects and people
Well organized individual who is able to effectively work and thrive in a fast paced environment.
Outstanding written and good presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills, both within the organization and outside of the corporate environment.

Life sciences background
2-3 years’ experience in medical sales, product or marketing management
Experience in new product management and product launches
Ability to speak another language in addition to English
Understanding of in vitro diagnostics (IVD) market, Point of care testing and/or IVD-based instrument commercialization
Internal: All corporate functions
External: key customers, professional/trade organizations, and other outside constituents
Typical office environment/home office. Occasional travel with ability to work autonomously while in the field and in customer work settings. Flexible work hours needed to meet project deadlines.
Ability to life up to 20 lbs required. Much of the work performed by this individual involves working at a computer, sitting for lengthy periods of time (for work, meetings, and travel), and ability to transition from one environment to another when in the field with customers. Approximately 20% of time managing meetings or meeting with people; 65% of the time at the desk on computer/doing paperwork/on phones; 5% of the time talking with customers. Limited international travel during certain times of year, to support meetings trade shows, and workshops and trainings may be required (5-10%)

The Role
As we continue to grow as QuidelOrtho, we are seeking an Associate Product Manager who supports branding and communications activities related to new molecular products being launched in US and Ex-USA marketing. Activities will focus on support in development, editing, and dissemination of package inserts, global promotional materials, and e-communications related to Molecular Business Unit. This position operates on a hybrid schedule in San Diego, CA.

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including: education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, its is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on that facts and circumstances of each case. A salary range for this position is 64,300.00 - 118,000.00 QuidelOrtho offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, along with a 401(k) plan, employee assistance program, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, paid time off (including sick time) and paid Holidays.
