  Role: Azure IaaS & PaaS Cloud Technical Specialist
  Location: Role is remote in Quebec or Montreal.
  Position Type: Contract
  Contract Duration: 12 Months
  Bilingual Skills: French and English is mandatory
  
  Job Description:-
  The Service Provider shall provide the professional services of an Azure IaaS & PaaS Cloud Technician. In a non-exhaustive manner, the following activities and deliverables are likely to be carried out by the resource during the project:
  
  - Deploy, monitor, maintain and support the Azure services used by the RAMQ ;
  - Perform server migration on site to Azure (in AVS or native mode);
  - Write the operating, administrative and operational procedures of the cloud computing solutions to be implemented;
  - Determine the required cloud computing configuration parameters;
  - Automate the administration and management tasks of the cloud computing solutions to be implemented;
  - Carry out the programming and automation in programmable infrastructure (infrastructure as code) in order to ensure:
  - The transfer of loads in cloud computing ;
  - The deployment of new loads in Azure cloud computing in native mode or AVS (BICEP & Ansible);
  - Load management in the cloud computing environment (BICEP & Ansible );
  - Carry out proofs of concept and document the results of the tests obtained;
  - Set up dashboards for consumption, event monitoring, capacity management and cost monitoring;
  - Monitor and track cloud computing expenses and propose ways to optimize costs;
  - Collaborate with the various teams in place while respecting the various processes of the organization;
  - Transfer knowledge to the resources of the Regie for all aspects affected, in particular: technological architecture , safety and operation.
