      Job summary

      We are excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN), Registered Nurse Learning Disability (RNLD)or Occupational Therapist (AHP) in the later stages of their career to join us as a Legacy Nurse/AHP Practice Assessor.

      In this role, you will play a vital part in shaping the next generation of health and care professionals.The role aims to support clinical quality and early careerNursingandAllied Health staff wellbeing through targeted education and mentoring, complimenting existing support and processes.

      • Is an experienced RMN, RNLD or Occupational Therapist, ideally in the later stages of their career

      • Demonstrates empathy, patience and a genuine passion for their profession

      • Has the ability to provide supportive, constructive feedback through observation

      • Is motivated to offer pastoral support to learners and colleagues

      • Values the importance of role modelling and understands the positive influence it can have on developing professionals

      Main duties of the job

      In this meaningful and rewarding position, you will play a key part in supporting Nurses and Allied Health Professionals who are at the early stages of their careers. Your work will help them develop confidence and skills, achieve a positive work/life balance, and feel supported and satisfied in their roles.

      As a Legacy Practitioner, you'll build strong relationships, collaborate with colleagues, and act as an ally and mentor. This may be through the use of observation and feedback, structured teaching and coaching and reflection.

      Where You'll Work

      Legacy Practitioners may work across a variety of specialisms and care settings, offering support based on referral and need.

      You'll also work closely with our wider practice education team, an established team of experienced educators.
