- Perform blood-typing and testing of samples.
- Record test results accurately in Continental's system.
- Ensure full traceability and document-recall through scanning and verifying important documents.
- Organize, process, and pack donation samples; handle multiple orders simultaneously.
- Aliquot and sort various samples, units, and orders.
- Execute laboratory functions in a proficient way maintaining high quality standards.
- Conduct QC processes and follow SOPs
- Participate in special projects
- Create and check packing lists for accuracy.
- Collaborate with different departments to streamline operations and results.
- Medical Technologist License.
- Strong work ethic; supervisory skills are a plus.
- Prior laboratory experience; knowledge of good laboratory practices is beneficial.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English; Spanish fluency is a plus.
- Computer literacy, including Excel and Word.
- Phenomenal Hours: Standard working hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm, and Fridays are 8:00am-3:00pm. No weekends or on-call duties.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented and organized Laboratory Technologist with a Medical Technologist license and experience in hematology and blood banking to join our laboratory team. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to various projects and continuous improvement and growth in our laboratory operations encompassing serology, chemistry, ABO and RH Group, phenotypes and more.
