What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer the assigned department's budget and management reporting software, including system maintenance and training
- Collaborate with Information Technology, Accounting, Finance & Reimbursement, and Patient Financial Services to design solutions for technical problems
- Assist with the coordination of the hospital’s annual budget process and manage inputs from internal staff
- Provide thorough financial and statistical analysis to produce reports and support decision-making
- Maintain and design database structures needed for reporting and analytics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, Hospital Administration, or a related field
- Two (2) years of experience in data analysis, financial statement preparation, financial systems administration, or healthcare planning
- Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with management, staff, and external customers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and extensive knowledge of personal computers
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Two (2) years of professional capacity experience, preferably in healthcare
- Experience in budgetary decision-making processes
- Advanced report writing skills for budgetary and management reporting systems
- Ability to work well under high-stress conditions
