Utilize benchmarking tools to develop investigator grant budget grids in assigned studies, in coordination with therapeutic and operational subject matter experts, to ensure proper grant development.
Draft applicable payment terms templates for investigator grant budget grids.
Coordinate internal/external approvals and feedback for the budget proposals and payment schedules.
Act as an escalation contact with external clients for investigator budget development, process and negotiation parameters.
Provide approved investigator grant grids and payment schedules, process and negotiation parameters to local teams.
Act as a single point of contact for internal/external client escalations for out of parameter site level budget negotiations.
Ensure quality and correctness of quantitative functions of budget templates.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure various site start-up activities are aligned with investigator grant activities and mutually agreed upon timelines; ensure alignment of investigator budget negotiation process for sites and study are properly aligned to the critical path for site activation.
Complete tracking and reporting as required.
Coordinate and provide guidance to local teams.
Bachelor's Degree in a Business-related area
Minimum of 1 year experience in the development and fulfillment of contracts requirements with demonstrated ability to take on increasing levels of responsibility.
Basic understanding of the principles of investigator grants template drafting
Capable of reviewing and analyzing a clinical protocol schedule of events to draft applicable budget grid and payment schedules therefrom
Solid oral and written communication skills
Capable of working independently or in a team environment
Solid understanding of negotiation and conflict management principles
Possesses cross cultural awareness and abililty to adapt appropriately
Strong customer service skills, demonstrating a customer focused style of communication, problem solving and collaboration
Strong understanding of using automated systems and computerized applications, such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
Capable of acting independently and leading functional studies with minimal oversight
Strong analytical and numerical skills
Solid attention to detail
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proven flexibility and adaptability
Experience with Medidata Grants Manager will be considered an advantage
Experience in preparing bids will be considered an advantage

A Day in the life of a Budget Analyst/Associate Investigator Grant Analyst:You will be a part of the Global Investigator Grants team responsible for the management and preparation of global investigator budgets.
Your main responsibilities as a Budget Analyst would require you to manage the preparation, review and finalization of global investigator grant budgets and payment schedules for multiple international clinical trials.
