      --- Project Description ---
      The OAG is seeking a Business Analyst to conduct professional grade
      requirements through industry standard requirements gathering
      sessions and associated tools.

      --- Day-to-Day Tasks ---
      1. Working closely with program staff, vendors, and other stakeholders to
      define requirements.
      2. Eliciting, analyzing, communicating, and validating requirements.
      3. Analyzing high-level design recommendations.
      4. Analyzing and researching impacts to other agency systems.
      5. Working on complex software in a fast-paced, high volume work
      environment.
      6. Utilizing effective communication and facilitation skills to reach
      consensus among stakeholders.
      7. Delivering oral and written communications to business owners, IT
      program team members and management.
      8. Logging, analyzing, testing, and troubleshooting defects found in the
      test and production environments.
      9. Providing guidance in the development of test scenarios and internal
      software training documents.
      10. Evaluating existing manual test cases and identify opportunities for
      automation.
      11. Creating manual and automated test plans, cases, and scripts.
      12. Developing and documenting internal training as it relates to business
      analysis and testing.
      13. Serving as a point of contact to manage multiple stakeholder teams
      and vendors assigned to the project to ensure team actions remain in
      synergy.
      14. Communicating with executives or the board to keep the project
      aligned with their goals.
      15. Performing quality control on the project throughout development to
      maintain the standards expected.
      16. Developing and documenting internal training as it relates to PMO
      services.
      17. Leveraging agency software to assist in the management of project's
      SDLC.

      Business Analyst
      Analyzes an organization or business domain (real or hypothetical) and documents its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology with distinct deliverables to a solution.
      Expert
      84+ months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.
      • 30 months of experience using ServiceNow to triage and respond to
      application support tickets from users
      • 36 months experience solliciting business needs from project requesters to
      build business cases
      • 84 months of business analysis experience in Information Technology
      supporting complex software systems or applications.
      • 84 months of experience analyzing complex business processes.
      • 84 months of experience creating test plans, and logging, analyzing, testing,
      and troubleshooting defects found in test and production environments.
      • 84 months of experience providing written communications to business
      owners, IT program team members, and management.
      • 18 months of experience as acting Project Manager on IT projects.
      • 84 months of experience in reviewing and evaluating technical specifications
      for compliance with business objectives and requirements.
      • Bachelor's Degree
