- Own production monthly business reporting that elevates storytelling and sharing of insights. Prepare balanced scorecard that analyzes historical trends vs forecast vs target with partnership from business on commentary
- Support internal partners by providing analysis and contextualization to what gathered intelligence means
- Accountable for analysis of customer data (tNPS score, verbatims, operational metrics) to provide monthly insights and partner with business on strategic actions and impact
- Participate in Inner/Outer Loops to share thematic feedback from customers and drive out significant actions to enhance customer experience
- Support process optimization initiatives by supplying impact assessment (baseline metrics and measuring impact)
- Produce data for planning meetings to share potential downstream/upstream impacts of changes
- Be responsible for the relationshipcollaboratorsss stakeholders (Operations, Marketing, Data Office, Process Optimization. This role will be an extension of the business partner teams for their line of business

- Degree in finance, business administration, math, statistics, economics and other quantitative discipline with strong business and finance background
- Working experience in Advanced Excel spreadsheet
- Preferably has an exposure or has used Power BI

The opportunity
The Data & Insights team within Canada Operations is recruiting for a Business Intelligence Senior Analyst to support the evolving needs of business intelligence and data-driven decision making. This team is accountable for providing practical business insights by contextualizing operational data.The Business Intelligence Senior Analyst will be accountable for developing reporting solutions and collaborating with business partners to become the data domain subject matter expert in this space. They will act as a business line lead providing data and insights to our Canada Operations business partner and work together to draft the business story.
ResponsibilitiesThe Business Intelligence Senior Analyst role will sit in the center, collaborating with the Director of Data & Insights, Planning & Execution, and act as a business line lead for all significant cross-departmental projects -- collaborating across operations, customer experience and process improvement partners.
The incumbent will become a data domain expert on their line of business by expanding their business insight through partnership with their collaborators.

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Salary range is expected to be between
$65,775.00 CAD - $109,625.00 CADIf you are applying for this role outside of the primary location, please contact recruitment@manulife.com for the salary range for your location. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
