      About Stinker

Founded in 1936, Stinker is everyone’s first choice for work, convenience, food, family and fun! Located across Idaho, Colorado and Wyoming, Stinker is a family-owned, people-focus, convenience leader. Led by our Skunktastik Mascot Polecat Pete, Stinker’s purpose is to make our world a better place, one employee, one customer and one community at a time by being a bright spot in the lives we touch. We don’t take ourselves too seriously, I mean come on… we have a skunk as a mascot, we look for opportunities to have fun each day and ensure we make decisions that put our people first. If we can’t have fun doin’ it, then we’re doin’ it wrong!

So, what does any of that have to do with you as a future member of Pete’s Posse? It means that you are stepping into a people-oriented company that is growing, provides diverse opportunities, and cares about being a bright spot in the community! When you join forces with Stinker, not only do you get to join a Stinkin’ awesome team, but you also open the door for your future career. With a culture that makes our employees feel valued and a part of something bigger- this job stinks of success, and so can you!

Category Manager – Loyalty and Digital Engagement

The Category ManagerLoyalty and Digital Engagement has the skunktastic responsibility of ensuring that all the witty skunk jokes, fun shenanigans, and sometime ridiculousness that is Stinker is represented in the great digital beyond. Partnering with departments across the organization, this role takes on representing the company across social media, our digital app, website and all other digital channels to drive engagement from our Stinkin’ Awesome customers.

      What You’ll Do:

      • Move at the speed of the internet (high-speed, not AOL, you’ve got mail) to ensure that Stinker’s website, social media platforms and app are staying up-to-date and a step ahead of trend.
      • Engage with third-party vendors as necessary to make sure they understand we’re the pretty girl at the dance, so they give us the time and attention we deserve.
      • Lead the overall design of the Stinker Website so we can show it to more people than just your mom.
      • Partner with the other Category Managers and Marketing Specialists to plan and execute various marketing campaigns throughout the year, launch new products, and figure out how to implement all the million-dollar ideas you had sitting in the bathroom.
      • Monitor, track, and report-out on the loyalty program to identify successes, missed opportunities and where we might as well have flushed money down the toilet.
      • Lots of other things surrounding all things Stinker Brand, Customer Engagement and all the things the cool kids are doing on TikTok, but I’ve run out of jokes at this point.

      What You’ll Need:

      • Effective time management, as with most things today, there are a lot of moving pieces and skunks headed in multiple directions!
      • Have a valid driver’s license and a passion for sightseeing, as there will be some travel required between Stinker locations.
      • 4-year degree in Marketing, Digital or related field.
      • Previous experience in convenience, QSR or retail preferred.

      So, are you Stinkin’ awesome?
