      In Summary...

      Mazzetti is seeking a motivated and talented Entry Level Civil Designer to join our team in Eugene, Oregon. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a recent grad or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in civil design, working on a variety of projects and participating in limited construction observation activities. The position involves in-office presence several days a week, working under the general supervision of a Project Lead or Project Manager.


      Mazzetti’s civil engineering projects span multiple markets, including Education, Public, Civic, Athletic, Commercial, Multifamily, Healthcare, and Life Sciences. Our civil services focus on site development/design, grading, accessibility, stormwater management, water/wastewater systems, and public improvements.

      Your Tasks Will Involve

      • Assist in the research, design, and development of civil engineering projects, including site development, grading, accessibility, stormwater management, and water/wastewater systems
      • Prepare project deliverables under the guidance of senior designers and engineers
      • Support project teams in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates
      • Conduct field investigations and site visits to gather data and support design activities
      • Collaborate with project managers and senior staff to develop efficient design solutions
      • Ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory standards
      • Participate in project meetings and client interactions as needed
      • Continuously develop technical skills and knowledge through on-the-job training and professional development opportunities
      • Create complete and accurate basic designs using AutoCAD/Civil 3D software

      Work Location

      This is a hybrid position based in Eugene. The candidate will be required to be onsite in Eugene for occasional specific project requirements, but the majority of the work can be done remotely from home in the Eugene area.


      Travel requirements: This position requires local travel of 10% or less.
