What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and perform structural engineering activities during development, design, and construction stages of projects
- Provide project oversight, including managing engineering scope, developing change orders, and maintaining project schedules
- Coordinate activities between multiple disciplines and project managers on complex projects
- Lead and develop engineering technical staff to achieve performance goals
- Participate in business development efforts to promote revenue growth and expand services
What is Required (Qualifications):
- B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
- Professional Engineer (PE and/or PEng) or Structural Engineer (SE) registration required
- Minimum of 6+ years of structural engineering experience, preferably in utility-scale solar and/or battery storage projects
- In-depth knowledge of ASCE 7, IBC, AISC 360, and ACI 318 required
- Proficiency in interpreting geotechnical data reports and managing multiple projects effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- NCEES Council Record or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Knowledge of renewable energy systems and project execution
- Seismic design experience and proficiency
- Strong analytical and information management skills
- Proven experience with Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access)
