      Main duties of the job

      As a Complex Care Assistant, you will be responsible for providing personalized care and support to a young client with a range of complex medical conditions. Your duties will include assisting with personal care, daily living activities, and specialized tasks such as suctioning, dystonia management, gastrostomy care, medication administration, and seizure management. You will work closely with the client, their family, and the wider care team to ensure the highest level of care and support.

      • Mandatory compliance & medication administration

      • Epilepsy & seizure management, including rescue medications

      • Pressure area care

      Your Role Will Include:

      • Supporting mobility, wellbeing, and independence

      • Following care plans and guidance from the care team

      • Effective communication with family and colleagues

      • Specialist care: suctioning, epilepsy management, dystonia, and gastrostomy care
