You will be extremely good at writing headlines to grab the viewer's attention and writing copy for social media that wraps around the actual ad.

Previously managed multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

To have a proven ability to work successfully both autonomously and as part of a team

Understands how different audiences engage with copy in the digital landscape and what creates the right emotional response to drive streaming/purchases

Has a test and learn mindset and can write copy that matches business goals

Ability to take an idea and write copy for digital advertising based on audience insights

Ability to proofread all copy that comes from the performance marketing creative team

Good understanding of the power of words and the weight they hold to inspire and drive action

The team
With the recent launch of ITVX, as ITV evolves from a TV brand to a streaming brand, it’s important the way we connect with our viewers is reflective of that. This is a new team within ITV Creative, to ensure we have creative excellence across every touchpoint, throughout the marketing funnel bringing performance marketing expertise to help us drive audience growth on ITVX.
The role
Reporting into the Creative Director of Performance marketing, You’ll be working on the “always on” performance marketing creative, to bring to life the marketing and media strategy for ITVX and ITV. Channels include: including paid social (Meta platforms and Tiktok), display, You Tube, Connected/Targeted TV and CRM. This would involve working closely with the relevant teams within ITV Marketing and Media, as well as the broader ITVC team.
This role would be responsible for coming up with engaging copy for digital advertising, that has an idea at the heart of it.
Using the ITVX tone of voice, this role will push boundaries across a range of media to drive a direct response and ultimately get viewers to watch more with ITVX. The formats will include Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Digital banners , CRM and TV.
