  Concrete Construction Laborer ($22/hour)

  Location: Dyersville, IA

  Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM

  (Occasional weekend work; rarely required. Typical workweek is up to 50

  hours.)

  Job Summary

  We are seeking a dependable and motivated Concrete

  Construction Laborer to join our growing field team. This role involves working

  alongside experienced crews to prep, pour, and finish concrete across commercial,

  agricultural, and residential projects. Ideal candidates are hands-on, quick

  learners who take pride in physical work and being part of a team from project

  start to finish.

  Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with concrete preparation, pouring, and finishing on job sites
  • Perform general construction labor throughout all phases of projects
  • Operate a variety of construction and concrete tools and equipment
  • Handle materials, including lifting, carrying, or pulling 50+ pounds
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized worksite
  • Support crew members and foremen as assignments change day-to-day

  Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (must have)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Strong ability to listen, understand, and follow directions
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing job duties
  • Dedicated, reliable work ethic with strong attendance
  • Clear communication skills
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

  Work Environment

  • Crews consist of 4 laborers per team
  • Total field staff of 16–20 employees
  • Foremen are experienced, old‑school construction leaders — candidates should be comfortable with direct communication and a fast‑paced, no‑nonsense work style
  • Outdoor, physically demanding environment in varying weather conditions

  Pay and Benefits

  The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
