What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead interdisciplinary teams and manage the execution of multiple FAA infrastructure projects
- Prepare work plans, estimate construction costs, and report on project status throughout its lifecycle
- Develop and implement risk management plans in collaboration with specialists to identify and control hazards
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and industry standards during project execution
- Act as the primary customer contact, leading program review sessions to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or an Engineering-related technical/business field
- Minimum of 10 years of related engineering management experience on large-scale programs
- Project Management Certification preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of engineering and construction-related processes and industry practices
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with the FAA or other federal government agencies
- Reside within the Northwest Mountain Region (WA, OR, ID, MT, WY, UT, CO)
