What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead acquisition planning for Coast Guard Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Cyber, and Intelligence (C5I) systems and services
- Draft Performance Work Statements (PWS), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), and Acquisition Plans in compliance with relevant requirements
- Conduct market research and develop Source Selection Plans with evaluation criteria
- Facilitate Acquisition Integrated Product Team (A-IPT) meetings to define requirements and review strategies
- Prepare acquisition packages that meet acceptance criteria of Contracting and Procurement staff
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must hold a FAC-C Professional or FAC-C COR, DAWIA in Contracting, or a commercial equivalent
- 3 to 5+ years of recent experience in government acquisition planning for projects valued over $3M
- Experience in developing acquisition artifacts such as PWS, IGCE, and Acquisition Plans
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a government background check
- Preferred experience in procuring IT hardware, software, and services
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience and knowledge of Command, Control, Communications, Cyber, and Computing (C5I) systems
- Professional services contracting experience
- Familiarity with Agile procurement methodologies
