Leadership opportunity at DuPage County Health Department!With the opening of the Crisis Recovery Center in September 2025, the DuPage County Health Department achieved a milestone in building the ideal behavioral health crisis system for our community. The Crisis Recovery Center provides 24/7 assessment, observation, stabilization for those experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis. We are excited to offer this leadership opportunity as a key role managing the medical service operations for Crisis Services. This position is an on-site position, working 40 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and requires the ability to meet the supervision needs of 24/7 operations and staff. The hiring range for this position is $82,950 to $92,950, depending on experience.

#DuPageCountyHealthDepartment1As the Crisis Medical Services Manager, you will:
- Provide leadership, direction and supervision for medical services at Crisis Services- Provide individual and clinical supervision/ consultation to assigned staff on the medical services team- Manage medical components of Withdrawal Management (Level 3.7), Sobering Care, Crisis Residential, and Triage with focus on quality improvement, policy review and development- Collaborate with Crisis Leadership to ensure needs for medical services are met within crisis programs, and develop department goals- Develop training materials for crisis staff as it pertains to medical services- Collaborate with hospital partners and EMS on effectiveness of workflows- Prepare reports on operations and activities- Understand and keep up to date on billing and related financial changes that may impact service delivery- Participate in emergency response activities as assigned- Review charts and documentation for accuracy and compliance- Work with a team of supervisors and assist in any necessary coverage to other Crisis services- Completion of bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Nursing, or a related field
- 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in public or community health, including three years of operational supervisory experience
- An equivalent combination of training and experience.
This position requires a current Registered Nurse license from the State of Illinois.
