What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Build and maintain relationships with customers through online communication
- Provide design and material expertise to bring customer ideas to life
- Manage project timelines and ensure deadlines are met for each unique design
- Create and present quotes that align with customer budgets and design requirements
- Handle post-production correspondence, including resizing and repairs for customer satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to convey personality through text
- Client-facing experience in sales, hospitality, luxury retail, or account management
- Passion for jewelry and design, with an interest in the creative development process
- Strong visual taste and resourcefulness in decision-making
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proven track record of achieving strong sales results
- Experience in fine jewelry sales
- Technical experience as a jewelry designer, bench jeweler, or artist
- Graduate Gemologist degree or coursework from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA)
- Bachelor's degree from a competitive college or university
