What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage incoming and outgoing calls to assist patients and healthcare providers
- Create new accounts and maintain accurate member records
- Resolve issues related to account management and supply delivery
- Obtain prior authorizations and process prescription refills
- Collaborate with insurance companies to ensure coverage and compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced customer service role
- Previous experience requiring clear and calm communication by phone
- Proficient in using computer applications and maintaining good records
- Must be computer literate; skills testing required
- Required education: High school diploma or GED
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in a healthcare or medical supply-related customer service role
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical supply processes
