      The MGB Tumor Cartography Core is a translational research facility focused on understanding cancer biology through advanced protein and RNA biomarker staining, high-plex imaging, and quantitative digital microscopy. As part of the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute, we collaborate closely with researchers across MGH, BWH, and partner institutions.

      Our mission is to accelerate cancer research using cutting-edge spatial imaging and spatial transcriptomic technologies combined with state-of-the-art analytical tools.

      We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Data Analyst who is excited to learn and grow in a dynamic research environment. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are interested in computational biology, digital pathology, biostatistics, image analysis, transcriptomics, or related fields.

      Job Summary

      Collaborates with team members to assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data sets.

      Essential Functions
      -Writes and runs basic queries as needed.

      -Assists in maintaining existing reporting systems.

      -Contributes to presentations to key stakeholders.

      -Works with senior analysts to design, maintain, and distribute reports.

      -Learn leading practice analysis methodologies.

      -Conduct continuous analysis of current performance and accurately forecast data trends.


      Qualifications

      Education
      Bachelor's Degree Analytics required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required

      Data Analysis Experience 0-1 year preferred

      Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
      - Building proficiency in statistics, data analysis, and data sets.
      - Proficient in time management and project management skills.
      - Ability to exercise sound judgment to make decisions within the scope of job responsibilities.
      - Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in word processing, spreadsheet, and database PC applications.
      - Solid quantitative, analytical, and technical aptitude skills.
      - Participate in dealing with all levels of employees /management and building proficient relationships with teams and all organizational customers.
      - Able to find and define problems, understand business impact, identify solutions, and provide recommendations for corrective action.
