What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Assess customer needs and design product roadmaps for data science and analytic products
- Execute data science projects by analyzing large datasets and preprocessing structured and unstructured data
- Build predictive models and machine learning algorithms to support healthcare research initiatives
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to manage the entire project/product life cycle
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards while handling sensitive health data
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a similar field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in data science or a related field
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) methods
- Knowledge of healthcare data privacy guidelines, including HIPAA standards, and experience handling Protected Health Information (PHI)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in product management with a focus on data management and analytics
- Familiarity with biomarker genomics data and understanding of genomic data pipelines
- Demonstrated expertise in statistical modeling and hypothesis testing
