- Develop imaginative brand strategies that will help Sunwing break through amongst this highly commoditized leisure travel category.
- Continually evolve Sunwingu2019s brand strategy and positioning, ensuring it resonates with our travellers and differentiates us from competitors.
- Develop strategic frameworks and principles that protect the integrity of the Sunwing brand across all tactics.
- Authenticate and grow positive sentiment for Sunwing in the Quebec market with the goal of increasing our direct consumer business.
- Collaborate with media agency and vendors to plan high impact placements that align with our target audiences and campaign goals, such as OOH, terrestrial and digital audio, cinema, etc.
- Regularly measure brand health with quarterly research studies.
- Manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Act as a vital partner to the Product team and establish go-to-market framework and processes to launch new products and support ongoing sales.
- Collaborate with Product and B2B marketing on seasonal product marketing plans that are integrated with brand and promotional campaigns.
- Develop differentiated positioning, storytelling and value propositions that will guide marketing peers to deliver effective campaigns.
- Deliver 360 omni-channel programs in collaboration with cross-functional teams.u00A0
- Accountable for planning, executing, and optimizing integrating marketing campaigns that encompass various channels to maximize brand visibility, customer acquisition and sales generation.
- Work closely with other departments, such as Payload, Product, Sales, and Analytics, to develop marketing plans that support immediate and near-term business needs.
- Establish KPIs upfront and track performance for continued learnings and optimization.
- Oversee a calendar of marketing campaigns that deliver on the overall load factor, gateway, and destination objectives.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 8-10 years of proven experience working with growth brands in a brand, product, and content marketing capacity.
- Strong digital fluency
- Strategic thinker with the ability to see the big picture while guiding a team to execute on the smaller details.
- Demonstrated success in building and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive business growth.
- Excellent understanding of the various marketing channels, both digital and traditional, and the roles they play in the marketing mix.
- Experience in a leadership role, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team, specifically through a companyu2019s digital transformation and change management.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics .
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Clear communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a f ast-paced environment and adapt effectively to competing priorities.u00A0
